The Historical Society of Glastonbury (HSG) is partnering with Glastonbury Partners in Planting (GPIP)
Sunday, October 13th from 11am to 2 pm at the Museum on the Green (at the corner of Hubbard/Main St.)
“Pay it Forward” by helping members of our community today who may struggle with their own food supply from time to time, as the Native Americans of this area helped early settlers increase their food supply.
Non-perishable food items to be donated to Glastonbury Food Bank

– Hands-on-History table of Native American objects -touch, explore- ask questions
– Exhibit by a Native American trader of the 1600’s
– Native American music & storytelling
– GPIP info table
– tables of 5th grade students’ work demonstrating their learning of the First Peoples
