Work in the colonial garden – plant, harvest, water, help with pest control.
Learn about colonial pantries. Churn your own butter and spread it on hearth-baked bread, pickle your own cukes and carrots.
Day 3, Wed June 24 Fiber to Fabrics to Fabulous Outcomes
Learn about colonial fashions, try on clothing, card wool, spin, dye your own hand towel, make a pillow seat.
Day 4, Thur June 25 Adventures in Learning – Communication before the internet
Make, bind, and decorate your own journal. Use invisible ink to send a message to a Revolutionary spy.
Day 5, Fri June 26 Discovery Adventures
Discover the fun times and the chore times of colonial kids. Dip candles, make rope, play with colonial toys and make your own.
